Karen Brinson Bell, executive director of the N.C. State Board of Elections, recently was elected incoming president of the National Association of State Election Directors (NASED).
North Carolina residents: If you’re a U.S. citizen, will be at least 18 years old by Election Day, and not serving a felony sentence, you’re eligible to vote.
The State Board of Elections is stressing to absentee voters that they must act soon to ensure their ballot is counted, if they have not yet returned their ballot.
