Election officials will hold a press conference at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, outside of an early voting site in Asheville to discuss the start of early voting and ensure voters in Western North Carolina have the information they need to vote in the 2024 general election.
In-person early voting begins Thursday at 419 sites statewide, including 76 sites in the 25 counties most affected by Hurricane Helene. See 10 Tips for NC Voters as Early Voting Begins This Week.
