Comment on Proposed Rules
The State Board of Elections invites the public to comment on a series of proposed rules to govern the conduct of petitions and to ensure transparency in the process for petitioners, the county boards of elections, and the State Board. Members of the public may comment on the rules in any of the following ways from March 17, 2025, through May 16, 2025.

- Public Hearing: An in-person public hearing on the proposed rules will be held at 10 a.m. April 14, 2025, in the State Board of Elections Office, Third Floor, Dobbs Building, 430 N. Salisbury St., Raleigh, NC 27603.
Submitted comments will be compiled and submitted to the State Board before its final consideration of the proposed rules.
