Election officials across North Carolina will conduct a statewide, machine recount of the ballots in the Supreme Court contest.
The State Board will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday, November 20.
Several North Carolina county boards of elections will not complete their election canvass meetings on Friday and will resume their work to certify 2024 general election results on Monday.

In the days following each election in North Carolina, the 100 county boards of elections count provisional ballots and certain absentee ballots cast in the election, conduct post-election audits, and complete any necessary recounts.

Voting will be extended until 8 p.m. in one precinct in Burke County and one precinct in Wilson County.
The State Board will meet at 3:30 p.m. to consider extending voting hours in one Wilson County precinct.
