The State Board of Elections on Tuesday voted unanimously to remove Jerry Forestieri and Timothy DeHaan from the Surry County Board of Elections. These county board members recently refused to certify their local elections. The removals are effective immediately.
The State Board of Elections will hold an in-person meeting at 10 a.m.  on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. The meeting will be held in the Surry County Courthouse, 201 E. Kapp St., Dobson, N.C.
