The State Board of Elections is considering adoption of a campaign finance settlement policy to resolve disputes over campaign finance civil penalties involving unlawful campaign contributions and expenditures. The policy has been developed consistent with the State Board’s settlement authority under Settlement; contested case (N.C.G.S. § 150B-22).
