Statement regarding ethics and conflicts of interest
Review of Temporary Order 2016-03 in light of NC Supreme Court scheduling order and legislative correspondence.
Temporary Order 2016-03: Regarding Contest for Supreme Court of North Carolina
Notwithstanding any contrary provision of law, a filing period for the North Carolina Supreme Court shall open at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, March 16 and close at 12:00 PM on Friday, March 25; if required, a primary will be held on June 7 to coincide with the primary for U.S. House of Representatives; the filing fee already paid be Justice Bob Edmunds pursuant to Session Law 2015-66 be reallocated or reimbursed, at his preference; and this resolution shall be void if the current order in Faires, et al. v. Whitney, et al. is stayed or reversed.
