Overview
Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021, county boards of elections will have begun mailing absentee ballots for October 2021 municipal elections to eligible voters who submitted an absentee ballot request form. After that date, you should receive your absentee ballot within about a week of submitting your request form, provided the request was received before the deadline.
If you request a ballot ahead of the deadline and do not receive it within about a week from the date above, you can contact your county board of elections to check that your request form was received and processed.
Absentee Ballot Return Deadline
5 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2021, Election Day, is the civilian absentee ballot return deadline for October 2021 municipal elections.
